Dear colleagues,It is really a privilege to have the opportunity to invite you all to Amsterdam and to participate in the XVII WFN World Congress on Parkinson’s disease and Related Disorders taking place from December 9th up to 13th, 2007. For many years, this congress, under the patronage of the ‘Research Group on Parkinsonism and Related Disorders’ of the World Federation of Neurology (chaired by Donald B. Calne, Vancouver, Canada) has become an important event in the medical congress calendar, attracting over 3.500 neurologists, neuroscientists and healthcare professionals with a special interest in Parkinson’s disease and related disorders.

This meeting is endorsed by the World Federation of Neurology. WFN members and all interested neurologists are encouraged to attend. The meeting is open to all neurologists regardless of citizenship.
CME - CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
The XVII WFN World Congress on Parkinson’s Disease and Related Disorders is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
The XVII WFN World Congress on Parkinson’s Disease and Related Disorders is designated for a maximum of
- 20 hours of CME credits from the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Neurologie and
- 21 hours of European external CME credits.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
